I found this site of Osma...whatever his name is. He sounds like a real flake.

http://www.alternativnahistorija.com/WM.htm

I have discussed this with some other professional archaeologists and some at least refer to it as looting. "Actual archaeological remains are being destroyed to allow this guy to follow his bizarre quest." Another guy said that this site was like digging up stonehenge looking for temples of lost wisdom. Confusing geological formations with manmade structures. The desire of local people to make money out of this. And of local politicians for publicty All overlaid with the political/religious conflict.

I just thought ya'll should know that there are some who already think it is a travesty. As far as I can tell they aren't being very professional about their techniques. They are destroying some archaeology to get to other archaeology just to prove his theory. Sorry, Ciko, but I think your man is a joke and he's wrecking an actual archaeological site chasing a phantom. I tried to reserve judgement until positive proof or lack thereof was presented, but having read more about Os I have to say he's the wrong man for the job. Just check out his site and the other ones I posted here.

i will tell you something you dont know, osmanagich protects national heritage, beacuse before osmanagich came to visoko, that area was not enough protected, so when he came there he suggested to local authoritiues to protect , to secure more area so people could not build houses and stuff like that :? , before some people when they build houses they digg this stone blocks and destroy them, bosnian archelogists never said anything about that, but when osmanagich and other propfesionall archjelogist and geologists came to digg, they scream

and that imamovic, i am really pissed whit him, he never came to that location to see what they have found , and he speeks againts osmangich, how unprofesionall

Jumping back to that conglomerate rock discussion, a quick Google search says that the oldest known man made concrete was in Yugoslavia (right there in the 'hood) in 5600 BC made from red lime, which might give it a pinkish appearance.

Osmanagich is from Texas. His wild ideas about the Maya have earned him a reputation among true pros as being a flake. I'm just telling you what they told me. True, anybody with unconventional ideas is always labeled a flake until they have proven themselves, but as far as I know he hasn't done so as yet. As for your professional archaeologists, money will persuade many people to say anything their boss tells them to say. We'll wait and see what turns up. Ciko, don't kill the messenger, (me), I'm just stating what I was told.

Coincidence???????
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

There was a magazine article interviewing an old Russian general who back in the Cold War was responsible for the possibility of invading the United States if it came to that. He said "We can land troops anywhere in the United States except the state of Texas. Everybody there has a gun, even the women and children!"

i have looked at the most recent photos and i cansee some blocks which look like concrete and some natural ones. then i have studied the placement of the rocks and blocks and it would be the strangest pyramid ever built.

there seems to be no rhyme nor reason as to the placement of all these 'blocks' to make a pyramid make sense. one would think that this archaeologist would have studied the other pyramids that have been built and seen the consistancy of the placement of the blocks before declaring that his is a pyramid.
osmanagich is boss there , he is whit media all time, but he have great knowledge about pyramids
why is he with the media all the time?? isn't his job supervising what is going on? it doesn't look like he has great knowledge of pyramids.

plus your english is beginning to sound like a character from some movie. i have to go back and check your other posts but i think your english has changed from when you first started.

Unsupervised, apparently. Not very professional.
maybe, but he have great exprence whit pyramids, he have stuided pyramid in 15 years,
How can he have great experience of pyramids, but no knowledge?
You sound more like his Press Manager than just an interested fan.
