So, if they did that, they must have hunted on the edge of the sea ice pack. Which stretched from Bretagne ('Brittany') in France to Martha's Vineyard. And if they did that, I wouldn't be at all surprised to find they preceded HSS Solutreans (Clovis) and trekked all the way to America...
So now the wait is for the discovery of Neandertals in America. (And Homo Erectus next!).

Who knows, R/S....perhaps HSS learned about eating seals and dolphins from those lowly and inferior HNS-types!
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Solutreans
Actually, it is one person's hypothesis that Solutreans were either Neanderthals or hybrids. To date, no Solutrean skeletons have been found that I know of - anyone care to look? The Lago Velho child burial in Portugal slightly predates the Solutrean culture and appears to be a hybrid according to Trinkhaus.
Maybe it was time to leave Europe since HSS was trashing the neighborhood?

Seals are easy enough to trap/knock on the head when they're resting on shore they can also be shot with an atlatl or bow from the waterside, Dolphins not so very since they are always swimming and rarely in shallow water (think b-word).
One method to take Dolphin-travelling offshore in a swift boat (over 4 knots/hour Dolphins love use a bow wave to catch a ride) someone with spearing skills can plug a Dolphin- Mexican fisherman friends of mine have in the past just for a taste of something different.
