Toba

The Old World is a reference to those parts of Earth known to Europeans before the voyages of Christopher Columbus; it includes Europe, Asia and Africa.

Toba

Post by Digit »

Watched a Nat Geo programme about the Toba Bottleneck last night, well, I watched part of it!
I gave up eventually as it seemed to be a classical case of a one sided view and raised all the questions that we non-experts raised here in the past.
What finally operated the OFF switch was the 'fact' that humans were near wiped out and Chimps continued to thrive. On what!?

I remember that one.

All the other mammals in the world did okay...like mammoths and HNS. This was a highly selective volcano.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
