Anyone looking for a puppy? Goldie, my Golden/Labrador Retriever has 8 of the little beasts. They are about 18 days old now. They should be ready for adoption on or about April 15. You'll have to come here to get it. I'll try to post a pic later.
She was in labor for about 14 hours before she gave birth to the first one. Then she was dropping pups for another 24 hrs. Two didn't make it. The rest were delivered by yours truly, a very messy undertaking. Goldie, the mom, is a first time mother so she didn't know what to do. I had to get them out of the birth sac and massage them til they breathed. It was quite a traumatic experience for me, as it was for her. No two of them were born in the same spot. It took me about 5 minutes to get the last one to breathe, then I had to hand feed him with a straw the first few times. A more practical and less soft-hearted person wouldn't have bothered. Just one more to get rid of, really, but he's my favorite. The runt. I named him Butch to inspire him to be tough. They are cute, but they are noisy, stinky, filthy little critters.
speaking of reproduction...

Sounds just like kids.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
