We gave what we felt was strong evidence for the theory, which explains a French team's microgravemetric survey in the 1980s that recorded variations in the density of the pyramid. Although the researchers didn't recognize its importance, an image from the survey may show a ramp still open inside the pyramid, running parallel to the outer face of the structure and turning 90 degrees at the corners, corkscrewing up to the top. In the article, we suggested other nondestructive methods of surveying, including infrared and sonar that could yield conclusive proof of an internal ramp. We remain hopeful that we will receive permission to conduct such a survey.

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

The theory is gaining detail too. The bit about the room 2/3 up seems very plausible. i've wondered what was up there since i first read of an opening in the corner of the pyramid. i'm kind of glad it took this long. Back then i would not have appreciated what was found.

The way they envision it, it remains a 700 foot-long cramped, stone, oven. When Brier climbed up the pyramid on the tv special he was careful to note that the floor of the notch was not smooth at all. Are they really going to run rollers over a rough floor?
Besides, Brier adheres to the 'tombs-and-tombs only' theory which means he also accepts the max-20 year build time....even though most pharaohs did not rule for 20 years. That still means 1 stone every 4 minutes, night and day, for 20 years. The internal ramp would simply slow things down even more.
Aside from all that, there is no suggestion of internal chambers in the other two Giza pyramids and surely, they would have built all of them with the same method.

I watched a TV programme 'tother evening about SH and out came the rollers again, I wish somebody would bloody well try it over uneven ground and stop talking BS!
Even on smooth ground the crush figures for the timer sets a maximum on the weight that can be sustained and there is no difference between uneven ground and different sized rollers.
Sleds make vastly more sense.
Roy.

Ever hit a raisin with a shopping cart? Stops it dead in its tracks.
And that floor is allegedly flat.

The trouble with all those theories is three-fold, imo: 1) none of them have been proven, 2) all of 'm sound excessively laborious and contrived, and 3) the one that elicits the "of course!" response, the theory that fits like a glove, is painfully absent.
The most glaring incongruity is the build period with any of the proposed methods. That could never have been 20 years. Likely they forgot a zero.
The "Sagrada Familia" cathedral has been under construction in Barçelona, Cataluña, Spain since 1882 and is not expected to be complete until at least 2026 (BTW, I visited last year, and it is FUGLY!). Same with all the other major cathedrals. They all took at least a century, often 2 or 3, to complete.
No way the ancient Egyptians could have built the pyramid of Cheops within 20 years with any of the proposed m.o.'s. Not even close.

They had to be built in 20 years because otherwise how could they be tombs for one man and..........
Oh, nevermind.

That's why it's always the journey, and not the destination, that counts.
Re: Bob Brier Still Touting Internal Ramps at Giza
Unless the destination has water slides. Water slides count for alot.
