"The finding is said to be the most important of its kind since an almost-complete fossil of a 3.3 million year old Australopithecus, nicknamed Little Foot, was found in Sterkfontein in 1994."

And the "Creationists" will have a field day. They will use anything to shout about how "evolutionists" will call anything a link, and this is just one more.

But I remain ever optimistic Leona that those who refute Darwinism will one day come up with a workable and logical alternative.

Optimists are always disappointed.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

As intriguing as the new fossil is, "it's not everything the rumor mill said it was going to be," said paleoanthropologist John Hawks at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. "It's not a missing link."
First of many articles and papers to come. I'm sure I'll be getting the PDF soon.

Ya'll need to be here in this lovely city where the school board is about to be sued because of a single sentence in the biology book to be used by the senior high honors biology class. The sentence casually mentions something about biblical myths and a couple of parents are having a fit. The school board decided that the book is appropriate for such a class. Funny thing is the kids of the parents making the fuss aren't even honors students so will not be using the textbook.

I guess you just can't trust the nedia any more. They are all in someone's pocket. Just out to make a buck and integrity means nothing any more. It's disgucting. We all use to trust Walter Cronkite without question, and now they're all liars. Where are Huntley and Brinkley when we need them? Where can one get the truth? Minus the spin and propoganda. I'm sorry I p[osted the link that began this topic. Hell I heard about that damn monkey last year and this headline made it sound like it was new. I am soooooo pissed off! Fucking press! :x My apologies folks for this non-news.
