Lindenmeier Site

Post by Johnny »

Have any of you visited the Lindenmeier site up in Ft. Collins, CO? I'm considering a field trip this weekend but I'm not sure if there's really much to see there or how close the overlook actually gets you to the site. Don't wanna drive an hour and a half to see a wash and some signage.

It appears that most of the artifacts from the site are at the Smithsonian, although there is a museum in Fort Collins.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Not much going on at the museum itself. About a dozen points and fragments, I think. They do have a really great new booklet, though. I think it's given me about what I needed to know.
