I guess we are all familiar with this idea...

Because body lice live primarily in our clothing, scientists use that moment of differentiation as the likely era when humans started dressing themselves.
... one problem. Captain Cook and other writers reported that Tasmanians were stark naked and covered in lice!

Re: Lice.
humans began wearing clothing about 100,000 years ago.
So I guess that means that the HNS groups in northern Europe all froze to death?
Wait....how could that be?
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Re: Lice.
It must be my age Min but I am getting more and more pissed off with 'experts' who publish obviously dubious comments. The one about Hyenas and homo just about somes it up. What ever happened to scientific facts, the whole facts and nothing but the facts?
There is another 'howler' in that Hyena post about Homo adaptions to the cold. Aside from HSN there appears to be no evidence of our adapting to cold in Europe. Wearing clothes is not an adaption.
