Bull reasoning! The etchings, if anything, are evidence of long periods of extremely low water levels, which certainly could not have sustained "significant numbers of settlements and people"! Quite the contrary of course.The etchings were "further, undeniable evidence" that the region had been occupied by a significant number of ancient settlements and people.
