One thing puzzles me though; when you click on the home page, the Bosnian language version has news reports from the last three days. When you click on the English version, all you get is a news report from January.
Now;
1) Am I doing something wrong?
No, you are not.
2)Can't the translators do something as simple as translate?
Ask Ciko, he is an isider.
3) Isn't the English version posted until it's been doctored for the benefit of the gullible?
I don't know about the English versions, but the Bosnian versions are doctored as well. I will give you an example. This picture was published with an explanation that went like this:

"Prof. Osmanagic thinks that the arrow sign represents a man. Other signs represent the members of his family..."
Prof. Osmanagic is the father of our Os. He is very active in the team and always on his son's side. Prof. Osmanagic is also a university professor. I think, he was teaching at the faculty of mechanical engineering in Sarajevo, maybe civil engineering.
After publishing the first version of the text, the journalist probably realized that Prof. Osmanagic was not the best person to speculate on an ancient writing system, so the text was changed:
"An expert thinks that the arrow..."
Os has fierce opposition in Bosnia. His dig is funded by Bosnia, and the Bosnian opposition can heart him a lot. Whatever you discuss here in this forum has been discussed a month ago in Bosnia. There are also several blogs that only criticize the whole enterprise. However, the quality of the opposition and credible arguments against Os are just not there.
Os won publicity and resources, i.e., money and people who will dig for him. The only problem that he has in the moment is that he cannot mobilize Bosnian scientists. That is just because of his pseudo-scientific reports, doctored articles, and similar things.
It took me no more than a day to find three possible references on the strange shape of the Visocica hill. It might take a week to confirm those references. My point is that it is possible to find very credible references about the topic. It seems that the strange shape of the hill was noticed at least a hundred years ago
Nobody expects Os to find a pyramid. As Doug pointed out, we know of a medieval city and its suburbia on the hill. We know that Romans and Illyrians were there too. However, we don’t know if there is something older than that under the hill. We also don’t know if somebody tried to change the shape of the hill in the last 7000 years. That is why most Bosnian scientists are silent.
It is crystal clear that the area has not been researched and many people want Os to continue digging. Unfortunately, the level of his reports is really, really poor. In addition, Os became very aggressive in the last couple of weeks. The way he speaks is offensive. He says things, such as “Bosnian science belongs to 19th century” and “Bosnian scientists are silent because they are afraid of new theories”. The mainstream is silent because we have not seen lately a single report that looks as a scientific report. I know that there are some independent and credible reports, but Os has decided not to publish them.
I actually did not want to write about Os today. I wanted to ask a question. What is this supposed to be?
