Interesting Idea
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

We do have a rough idea of the pitch set , scales /modes used on the stringed instruments but that doesn't mean that the singers would not have used other pitches or even qurter tones etc .Minimalist wrote:Even if there is no way to really know.

Does the knowledge of the language and verse really provide a guide to rhythm ? Purcell would have used entirely rhythyms when presented with rap lyrics and sumer is a cumen would differ dramatically if set by Harrison Birtwhistle yet all speak the same language and are belong to a time period of less than millenium . What hope for retrieving something three times as old ?
Prefer Tupac any day .
