"tinge"? "racism"? consider Bronze Age mediterranean studies for wonderfull examples of both.

One nice thing about impactors is that they don't discriminate.

Anyone trying to reconstruct hominid evolution while ignoring those big, perfectly round holes in the ground is ignoring some of the most important data affecting that evolution.

The new fossils must be viewed in that context as well.
