i knew it wasn't an honest remark, rene, like marduk, can't be honest.

Wouldn't jesus just turn the other cheek?
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Hey.

He's your god, not mine.

If you ask me the whole thing is completely unrealistic.

Glad I'm not a follower.

your choice but even believers get to make mistakes. it are those outside the faith that holds up christians to unrealistic andidealistic standards that they could never hope to meet.

remember the old adage 'to err is human to forgive divine'. we all make errors. besides, the way you act, especially towards the Bible, i can say i am glad i am not an unbeliever.

now i called marduk and rene morons which i should not have done and i am sorry but that is what i think of them personally along with being trolls out to ruin this forum. along with trying to bait me every chance they get. they are not here to contribute and their posts reflect it.

Uh-huh....and then you run to your 'god' who conveniently forgives you.

Quite a system.

yes, it is called grace but that grace doesn't give us a license to sin but we still do. it is a nice feeling to get forgiveness when we make mistakes or sin. we are not to practice sin but it still happens the only problemis the unbelieving world holds evey action up to scrutiny and over our heads using such actions as an excuse for not believing and that is wrong.

So you reject these lines from Deuteronomy 7?

16And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

17If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?

18Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;

19The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.

20Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.

21Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

22And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

23But the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

24And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.

God will be pissed at you. He doesn't like editing.

Thank you for your kind apologiesArch ,no worriesI've never felt insulted by you ,you may even continue to call me a moron or a troll, those are only words. If I call you Basil it is meant as a joke of course ,inspired by the great humour of John Cleese in Fawlty Towers.I don't know if you have ever seen any of it .I could not help but think of Basil when you found no better argument to oppose to the theory of evolution than stating it was impossible because it contained no ethical principles ,again demonstrating that you don't understand thevery basics of what you are trying to oppose . .Frank Harris pointed that out to you .I even failed to understand the meaning of most of your sentences.Leona translated them in plain english for me when she summarized your line of thinking .
To me this line of thinking is new.I've never encountered anybody anywhere wielding the kind of argumentsyou use in this forum. To claim that they contribute to the debate whilst I am not is just the fruit of your prejudical thinking or your imagination .I enjoy very much my contributionson thisforum .I will work a bit more on the infamous articles I 've cited claiming men and dinosaurs lived together . I will write to the poor ignorant souls responsible for those claims and demonstrate a few of their errors ,have you looked into that webite ,Arch ?Have you seen the ressemblance between the Havasupai petroglyph and the representation of a dinosaur from what looks like a fairy tale book .It does not even come close to the real thing No doubt those poor errant souls will be very happy with my contribution to correct their errors as they are honnest chrisitians unable to rely on false arguments to build up their case .Unfortunately meanwhile my email to them providing them with facts about the real age of the discovery of complete iguanodon remained without answer .I suppose ,Arch , you must have better access to those poor ignorant souls and you are willing to pull some strings to have those errors corrected .Please accept my thanks for that .
I think therefore I am
