Semite 10

Marduk, the Semites were base 10 while I thought that everyone knew that the Sumerians were base 60 (60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, etc.). Therefore, if I am a Semite who is 30 years old speaking to a Sumerian, I would tell that person that I am 180 years old or he would look at me like I was an idiot. Make sense?
