True. But that will be a "can of worms" only for those 'man the God child' experts, and perhaps for some of 'us' armchair paleo anthropologists who can't handle that some people have different ideas from them. I still don't see, however, how it would "open a whole can of worms" for the Abos (and Papuas, and Bushmen). What difference would it make to their lives? It won't make them stop living, breathing or reproducing – i.o.w. being – will it? It won't make them suddenly fall off the edge of the world, will it? They are there! They exist! The 'man the God child' experts can't ignore their physical presence just because they don't like the idea, can they?

Well... unfortunately they can. Just like the masses simply ignore the Obama reality versus the Obama campaign promises. Or like Palin in all seriousness can state on national TV that "George Washington was the leader" [of the Pilgrim Fathers]   and still have a large following (which must be even dumber than Palin, if that is at all possible).

Neither do I.

Then what did you imply by "It also opens a can of worms for the Aboriginies perhaps"?

Colloquial English again.

Sorry, that's a cop out.
"It also opens a can of worms for the Aboriginies perhaps" has a totally different meaning from "It also opens a can of worms about the Aboriginies perhaps"...
If you meant the one but involuntarily typed the other the diagnosis is Expressive Aphasia. My dad was also afflicted by it. After his CVA.

No, it was an explanation.
I don't know about your dad but if there was more than one 'sufferer' perhaps you should consider the fault is yours as opposed to being the only one in step.
Another English colloquialism BTW.
And for God sake stop arguing with people, get another hobby!

That will be my pleasure, as soon as some of those people stop claiming they're right when they know full well they screwed up. Especially when they keep insinuating their assumed superiority. It's a knee-jerk reflex since we had a tiff with the other neighbours...

Especially when they keep insinuating their assumed superiority.
Very relevant when you consider that twice this week alone you have had problems with other people's 'English' and told them that they are wrong and that you are the one who is correct.
I would observe that nobody else on this forum appears to have this particular problem.

A logical consequence of selective observation of course.

No, just a simple observation that might just give you pause for thought, we can't, including your father, all be wrong.

I did, its relevance missed me. Now for God sake go and argue with you missus and leave me alone.

We need a group hug.

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
