Ah yes, the pre-Deluge Mount Zion, from where the four rivers emanated.

mount Zion ?
i doubt it
Zion is a hebrew word
and Hebrew didn't exist until around 1200bce
so quite some time after you claim they were out mapping the world

and no
ZI.KUR.AT doesnt mean that
translated directly it means "life after the mountains"
not "mountain"
this is where the claim that the sumerians were a mountain people came from
Sumerologists never bothered to explain it to the public though
its like an in joke
but when you read their texts its fairly obvious they were from a mountainous area
question is
which one
they even tell a story about a huge flood that swept through their mountain home causing them to have to leave
iirc it was caused by a God called EN.LIL being annoyed at the noise of all the yabbering and had a character called Ziusudra who escapes getting his feet wet by using the side of his reed house as a boat
Enlil couldn't sleep see
i know how he feels
someone woke me up this morning phoning me to say Hi
if i could have sent a flood round his house as a form of greeting to return the favour i would have
doesn't he know I like God like a good drink on a friday and so sleep in late on saturday.
