you have yet to convince me that your approach, or frank's or you hero archaeologists are objective, honest, let alone scientific.

There is no convincing you. You believe in bible stories. You think that there was a flood covering the entire land surface of the planet and one guy on a big boat. You think your boy jesus walked on water. You think JOshua made the sun stand still. You think Moses parted the Red Sea. You think Mary was a virgin.

That is not science. It's superstition.

You seem happy with it. Enjoy yourself. The only time you get in trouble is when you bring your fairy tales to a science board and are surprised that everyone tells you what a shithead you are.

One would have thought that it would sink in by now.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

you forget that the non-religius do not own 'science' nor do they get to set the definitions or the rules pertaiing to it. they think they do but they are sadly mistaken.

all you have shown me is that you r more close-minded, biased, unobjective than those you complain about.

also all you have shown me is that you are cowards when faced with the tough questions or the truth. you can't even address the points raised in my last post.

the people you believe spin fancier tales and have less credibility than any Biblical author could even attempt to do. the fairy tales you ascribe to come from those who need something other than the Bible and 'who is the bigger fool? the fool that says there is no God or those who follow him? or the fool who says the bible is a fairy tale or those that follow him?

deal with the contradictions in your own people first before attacking the bible.

Until you can bring more to the table than fairy tales you are not going to be taken seriously.

Truthfully, I don't think you have that capacity.

that is funny because thatis exactly what evolution is, what minmalists (in general) bring to the table.

i have brought serious evidence, it is not my fault you refuse to accept any of it. you just made yourself look foolish, arrogant, and superior by your attitude and i have stopped lkistening to you.

I've read and re-read your posts and I am still looking for your "evidence." You just keep quoting fanatic religious writers and telling us "God" did it, therefore we should not be asking questions.

He has the same "Evidence" that Dinosaur-boy has.....he points to the bible and says "this is what god said." In arch's mind that is evidence.

To eveyone else it is psychosis.

So you finally found out arch issuffering from a psychosis.Did you really need solong .Just leave the poor fellow in peace .There is no cure for brain damage .For that iswhat it is.Can I refer you to experiments that induced extatic religious experiences into normal people just by stimulating a certain part on the right side of the head with electricity .The persons subjected to these experiences had visions ,extatic religious feelings and they felt the presence of a deity .Some other people go through this kind of experience when struck with epileptic attack like SAul who called himself Paul afterwards .Have you ever tried to reason a schizo ? I suspect minimalist is not really trying to convince archeologist at all but is trying to educate those who occasionaly drop in on this forum. In that cas I can only add ;well done ,I never before encountered such a broad knowledge directed to such a small target
I think therefore I am

Yup.

So, on that score, anyone want to see the 'original' Tower of Babel story, before Hebrew plagiarists stole it and re-worked it for their bible?

http://deoxy.org/alephnull/nam-shub.htm

Then the lord defiant, the prince defiant, the king defiant,

Enki, the lord of abundance, whose commands are trustworthy,

The lord of wisdom, who scans the land,

The leader of the gods,

The lord of Eridu, endowed with wisdom,

Changed the speech in their mouths, put contention into it,

Into the speech of man that had been one.

Just as big a pile of manure as the Hebrew version but you can rest assured that the arch's of the world will SWEAR that their version is true and everyone else's is false.

BTW, there is a Mayan myth of a god who got pissed because of a Pyramid being built in Mexico. I have to go find that one.

as i said before personal attacks just hurt you, you haave nothing credible to say so your words mean nothing. it is very easy to attack, very hard to construct.

Ok lets take a vote! Everryone. Who looks more "foolish, arrogant and superior" here? Arch or any one of the rest of us? Please vote for your favorite foolish, arrogant, superior asshole. My vote is for Arch. Surprise!

With the exception of foolish, I don't think any of those things about Arch. I just pity him and hope that one day he is able to lift that yoke off of his shoulders and stand up straight like a man.
