There's always an election soon over here....at least every 2 years.
BUt as to NASA, you can't pin your political hopes on it, because some people think it's a waste of money.

The moon would be nice, but I'd rather it was somewhere with a lot more gravity going on, Saturn or Jupiter for example. Failing that I'd settle for the sunny side of Mercury. With a bit of luck we can get Blair to crawl up his bottom just before launch and solve two problems at the same time.
