I read this a little earlier RS. The definition has changed a little since I posted a Troll thread about a year ago. But anyway, we've had our fair share. Now the real problem comes when you have a pair of them working together. That's rough.

It's in French and I don't understand so appologies if I'm repeating anything (as I suspect I may be). Over at the Richard Dawkins forum they get a lot of creationists and fundies as you might well imagine. One person suggested a special troll zone to which these posters would be restricted where they could rant away to their heart's content and regular posters with an iron (or at least argumentative) will could then drop in if they fancied a bit of a scrap. It appeals to my sense of humour I guess, but to be honest I would personally rather not engage with these folks.

So I take it we still have trolls around here. Er... I've seen a few lively debates but nothing that scores on the Genesis Veracity scale. I must admit some of the recent postings I've found a bit wearying (present company excepted) so I've tended to stay out of it.

I am not internet sophisticated enough to know the problem.
But since I see responses to my posts, I guess I am not one?
(In my world Trolls are people that live in lower peninsula of Michigan. (“Below the Straights of Mackinac Bridge.”) This is as opposed to “Yuppers” who live on the Upper Peninsula and, due to their remoteness, are a breed apart. (“Yuppers” is “U. P. ers” )

Or maybe Michelle has implemented the scheme and you simply don't notice the difference . . . ? Which is the point of that scheme in the first place!
