The Old World is a reference to those parts of Earth known to Europeans before the voyages of Christopher Columbus; it includes Europe, Asia and Africa.

9500 years old houses in Tromsø
22. August. 2008 16.06 ordeal

Archeology in Norway has so far unearthed the oldest permanent settlement in Northern by Tønsnes outside the north-Norwegian city Tromsø.

The houses are thousands of years older than the previously known settlements. The houses were inhabited for 9500 years ago.

this found is done in a future industrial area outside of Tromsø.

Archaeologist had expected to find traces of pitches in the region, but instead found a permanent settlement. the found challenges the notion that people do not live in the houses at the time.

-- It is quite unique in the northern context, says digging leader Marianne Skandfer to the Norwegian press agency NTB.

the founds will overturn it, which archaeologists previously thought to know about permanent settlements.

Once again, as shown in the article about life in the Alpine regions, it shows that mankind had spread everywhere and was making use of marginal lands.

IT will be interesting to see if there is any follow-up.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
