As I recall, the vast majority of the arrows that were found with the body were unfinished.

It seems the height of stupidity to walk around with only unfinished arrows in a dangerous environment which suggests that Oetzi had fired his supply of usable arrows. That implies combat to me rather than "murder."

It's a fascinating subject, though.

Another scenario has occured to me. Perhaps Otzi was involved in some kind of crime in which his hand was injured. Maybe he killed someone in a fight. He made his escape into the mountains, but was chased by a "posse" for lack of a better word. He was shot in the back as if running away. Perhaps the other wound, the bruise was caused by a rock thrown from a sling, which would indicate two people attacked him. Lotsa possibilities.
