Boskops Man
Was in the news. Shushed up? Downed flying saucer? Atlantis? Any bones left for modern tests?
Re: Boskops Man
Psychiatrist Gary Lynch and cognitive scientist Richard Granger have written this book, “Big Brain: The Origins and Future of Human Intelligence” comparing the brains of the Boskops and the humans.
They say, “Just as we’re smarter than apes, they were probably smarter than us”.
They say the Boskops might have been more insightful and self-reflective than modern humans, with fantastic memories and a penchant for dreaming. They also may have had an “internal mental life beyond anything we can imagine." [/color]
Two things Gunny.
First, note that the book quotes have all kinds of wiggle room words in them.
“might” and “may” and “probably”
Secondly, the whole premise of their argument is that a bigger brain means a smarter animal.
That has been proved wrong on numerous levels.
And they know that.
That is why the words are there.
I am a believer in some stuff being, at the least ignored, if not actually suppressed.
But I believe this latest spate news is all publicity release fluff on the release of a book aimed at the fringe.

First, if you do a simple Google Scholar search for "Boskop", you will discover that this has not been a going topic in human evolution for nearly fifty years. Most intellectual effort on the topic of "Boskopoids" happened between 1915 and 1930. I want to emphasize how easy it is to discover these things by a simple Google search. This is obscure knowledge, but for a good reason -- it's obsolete and has been for fifty years!
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.
