The Bard

Here's where you get off topic and off center....Keep it nice, keep it clean, no sniping, no flaming. After that, anything goes.

I made contact yesterday with a lady who worked in the offices of a factory where I was the development engineer.

'Oh yes,' she replied. 'I remember you, you were the intelligent one!

But.....what does that say about the rest of your department!!
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Many years ago Min I saw a TV interview with Sir Tommy Sopwith, a great engineer. He was asked to what did he attribute his great success,
His reply was typical. 'I was the right man in the right place at the right time!'
Word for word my life as well, luck is a very useful attribute.

"“Luck is the residue of design.” - Branch Rickey

Take your pick.
