Museum of Man - San Diego

Here's where you get off topic and off center....Keep it nice, keep it clean, no sniping, no flaming. After that, anything goes.

Museum of Man - San Diego

Post by JSteen »

Hiya all. I'm going to be in the San Diego area next week and am thinking of checking out the Museum of Man there. Does anyone know it? Do you recommend it? Any must-sees? I heard there was a cool exhibit that takes you through the earliest hominids up to today.

No idea, but make sure you leave before the Neandertals come to life!

JSteen,

Balboa Park, the location of the Museum of Man is great! There are 14+ museums from sports, space to anthropology. The Natural History Museum and Museum of Man are my favorites, but they are all good. Hope you've got lots of time, the park/museums can take a couple of days to explore! :D
