I wonder how far Newport Beach is from Phoenix?

Just think how gret it would be to listen to theories of antiquity with no one talking about the goddamn bible!
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

You should go! Your heroes will be there. I might even consider going if it was close to me. I'm highly sceptical about many of their theories, but it would be interesting. Hancock is a very intelligent guy. Some of the others are nutso, though.

Oddly enough, no. Sacred cow makes the best hamburger, to quote Mark Twain!

Irrelevant. The question is where did the shadow fall at 4:32 pm on the summer solstice in 10,500 BC?

Stan, how do you know this? I'm curious. Are you into astronomy in a big way?

That could be significant.

About 6 hours door to door if you are a speed demon

Seven if you're not.

I have a place in north Phoenix and live, part time, in Huntington Beach, 8 to 10 miles straight down the coast to the conference.

Better here for the summer than Phoenix
