Early Humans Occupied South Asia Over a Million Years Ago

The Old World is a reference to those parts of Earth known to Europeans before the voyages of Christopher Columbus; it includes Europe, Asia and Africa.

Early Humans Occupied South Asia Over a Million Years Ago

Early Humans Occupied South Asia Over a Million Years Ago
http://popular-archaeology.com/issue/ap ... -years-ago

3500 stone artifacts made out of quartzite.
This would be a terrific assemblage to compare with San Diego's early Carterfacts, a lot of which involved bipolar reduction.

I predict the Club will claim they are geofacts and the creationists will insist that they are only 6,000 years old!

Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

Well, the Club has nothing to say about these East Indian artifacts since they are found all over the Old World.
But 90 percent of the early artifacts in San Diego and vicinity are made out of quartzite, so it would be a great assemblage to compare with these accepted Old World artifacts out of the same material. Scientifically it is the perfect comparative assemblage. But, since the Club insists on being theory driven and science is evidence driven, the twain will never meet until the Club begins to practice a little courage and curiosity instead of the institutionalized cowardice that is currently appreciated by all, so probably not in our lifetime.

only a few "r"s in this one.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch

(town in North Wales: translates as
"The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave")

tried once to put it on my bumper but it rolled around and reached the tires. wonder how the welsh are with nicknames?

Nicknames? Well Chris, there's none better, or worse.
Many modern Welsh surnames are English adaptions, Jones, Bowen, Jenkins etc and are as common as fleas on a dog.
So we get, Jones Butcher, Jones Carter etc, many Welsh of my aquaintance I don't actually know their proper names!
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch is normally shortened to Llanfair p g, even by the Welsh.
It's typical of Welsh place names though as they are normally a list of directions so that people could find the place. I live in a village called Tremain, means Stone House from the days when such structure were very rare.
We have a Yew tree in our garden that appears to be over 700 yrs old.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch

That's just plain unfair! By the time I finished saying it I would have forgotten where I was going.

just saw The Flores hobbit: Alien from Earth? (Nova 2008). Missed it the first time around.
I think it is one of the best archaeology docs ever made. And they might even be australopithecus types, like Dmanisi who are also discusses. Just a great presentation of what the future holds.
