I hope to be posting several oberservations over the next few days, and to use this as a place holder.
First, I believe that Guachoya was Vicksburg, the capitol of the Yazoo nation, based on the two hills:

The reconstructed diorama in the Courthouse Museum is very seriously flawed and needs to be replaced.
A lot of the site is under NPS ownership, the radio tower hill needs to be preserved, in my opinion.

Second observation:
Last year I mentioned Shawnee pictoglyphs.
This brings us to the original location of the Tuchabachee. before they were attacked by the Five Nations.
Since Ocate was the location of the Oschi, and Tasqui the location of the Tuskigee, that leaves Nashville as the location of the Tuchbachee.
The flight of some of the Shawnee there accords with the Tuchabachee plates, for more on which see Swanton.
Why am I having so much trouble finding that copper plate with the priest with the pig's face? I thought it was from Etowah.
WHY?
Who exactly is it that is trying to rewrite the past here, and throwing out the archaeological record?
