Ice Age Civilisations
By James I Nienhaus

I think most of the long-term posters that frequent this forum and others are aware of the existence of this fellow by now. His Pseudonym Genesis Veracity is also his mission in life. To this end he has recently released this book to prove once and for all that the bible is 100% true and god in 4004bce created the earth in seven days.

I have always been interested in why people would believe this sort of thing when the evidence to the contrary is so overwhelming. I can understand why people would believe it 100 or 200 years ago before modern science started giving us all the answers but trying to understand the motivation for people who have “faith” thesedays is I feel important enough to warrant a closer inspection from an anthropological perspective. After all, if as some people claim the world will be destroyed in 6 years and the only remains left to our descendants are the large structures such as the gothic churches and the many warehouses full of unsold books on creationism we may all look as strange to our great (x whatever you like times by seventy two) grandkids as the fundamental religious sects of the ancient world do to us

Chapter 1 covers “partially submarine kingdoms”.
Thinking at first that this may be an introduction into the world of “the man from Atlantis” or “Stingray” I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a lot of the information it contains is almost correct. Sites such as Yonaguni and the Indus Sarasvati civilisation are placed in their orthodox timeframes. Graham Hancock amongst other pseudo authors get a hammering for suggesting otherwise and its doing quite well outlining the facts of the matter until the author mentions that the ice age ended not around 10,500BCE but in fact as late as 1500bce. This is ascribed as the reason that these civilisations fell. They were wiped out by the vast post glacial flooding that we have all come to know and love in the works of the aforementioned G.H,

Chapter 2 covers “wheel of time measured at Giza”
This is where the book really starts to get interesting as the Author introduces the work of Crichton E.M Miller and his ancient (recently patented) wheel of time measuring device
http://www.crichtonmiller.com/
It is explained that this device used pretty much universally throughout navigators in the ancient world to define longitude is behind the accurate measurements of the earth contained in the Great Pyramid, which is revealed as basically a storehouse of geographical information.
Things like size of the earth are contained within its walls and it is revealed that it used to sit on the ancient prime meridian a place currently occupied by Greenwich which is on the same latitude. This chapter features all the things you may have read about Giza from typically less than credible sources.

Chapter 3 covers “they measured and mapped the globe”
This is a fascinating look into the world of ancient cartography and uses the hard proof of the existence of a series of maps that prove that the world was mapped before the ice covered it (circa 2500bce)
Old favourites such as the Oronteus Finneus map and the Piri Reis reveal their amazing origins to the startled reader. Using of course the aforementioned Celtic cross (wheel of time) as a measuring device it explains how the tyranean seafish, aka the Phoenicians were the ones responsible, who spread disinformation about sea monsters and a flat earth to discourage anyone else from discovering their lucrative sea routes. Up until this point I had always thought that the Tyrrhenian Seafish was some kind of Oarfish that was commonly found in seafood sandwiches throughout Italy. I stand corrected

Chapter 4 covers “ancient legends reveal precession”
An in depth and revelatory look, at how mythologists have all been incorrect about their belief behind the origins of precessional numbers in ancient myths. It proves once and for all that all the precessional numbers are also to be found in the dimensions of the great pyramid of Giza. Everything from the Vedas to Valhalla , from Mesoamerica to palaces in Iran apparently offer evidence that this is the case and how the tyranean seafish were behind all the architecture in the ancient world. Hyper diffusionism on a global scale (is there any other)

Chapter 5 covers “ice age rain for the ancients”
This chapter informs the by now paranoid as hell reader that the conditions during the 2000bce ice age were terrible and elevates the ancient sea farers to legendary status for attempting to go beyond sight of land. Handily equipped with the boats found buried near to the great pyramid and with their wheels of time they set out in an environment that changes by the minute raining one minute and tropical the next as the world spins out of control due to the ice covering it. Brave men indeed

Chapter 6 covers “ancient allegories for precession”
This section reiterates the earlier “facts” about how this measuring could only have been possible (its on your head Crichton) with the Celtic wheel of time analogue device and proves it by referencing ancient mythology that hints at its existence. It hints at the end about the oncoming catastrophe that the ancients knew of and which we have entirely missed (apart from a few gifted individuals). I’m screaming into my blankie by this point

Chapter 7 “constant twilight and Black rain”
This part covers again the terrible conditions of the ice age weather and points out that with almost total cloud cover and accompanying temperature drop the seas were warmer and the ancient mariners navigating it had to try extra hard to see the stars to fix their position underneath it. Well done those guys. Good job too or the great pyramid would be a mud hut to this day. It mentions the post Columbian Popul Vuh as a source for this information and presents it as an ancient pre Columbian corroborating factor to the authors main hypothesis in very much the same way that Graham Hancock presented it as evidence in finger-paints of the gods.

Chapter 8 “Earth hexagon architecture and the zodiac”
This chapter presents the part we have all been waiting for
Proof at last that the great pyramid is not only connected to the earth Hexagon (geometrical earth measurements made easy) but that the Zodiac is actually based on the same system of architecture. After all we all know that the zodiac is not really a method of divining the creator but more a method for the creator to tell us that only his predictions are accurate 100% of the time. So to think you will be meeting a tall dark stranger because Justin Toper of Mystic Meg says so is missing the point. God is in fact responsible for sending the tall dark stranger to meet you

Chapter 9 “Sea kings navigated the pacific”
Yonaguni resurfaces in this chapter and along with our old friends Charles H Hapgood’s Antarctica and Robert Schoch’s belief that the pyramid builders were from Sundaland points out that searching these areas will reveal proof positive that young earth creationism is a fact. Unfortunately this thesis is of course let down by the fact that as of yet no man made structures have been found in these areas so we should all really place more faith in the lord grab a snorkel and get diving.
Another interesting foray into the world of the ridiculous notion that the sphinx could be ancient backed up by quotations from Graham Hancock and Robert Schoch who by their own admission reveal their sinful lack of ability to see the truth in this area. Now come on there aren’t many here that wouldn’t admit this to eb the truth of the matter is there.

Chapter 10 “Sea kings settled ice age Europe “
This chapter describes the dispersal of humanity during and after the ice age (2000-1500bce) that caused the evidence of the previous 9 chapters to be distributed fairly amongst the not so ancient (now at least) monuments that litter the European landscape. True believers from Canaan are revealed to have been behind these migrations, as they and only they knew the ancient knowledge that allowed the postglacial survivors to settle in lands that were suitable to their independent merits. The precession measuring megalithic monuments such as Stonehenge which are found in Europe, north Africa, the middle east, India and the far east clearly are thesedays found (in some cases) on the ocean floor because of the boost to global sea levels by the addition of all that fresh melted water

Chapter 11 “base six games of the ancients”
The ancients liked games. They particularly liked games that featured base six. The reason for this is of course that that the ancient mapping system used base six and therefore any game that uses dice is really a long forgotten reminder that the ancient games of Backgammon and Senet and Mancela all are derived from ancient knowledge. It mentions as a final flourish some magnificent dice found in the Indus Sarasvati civilisation “of superior workmanship” and explains if you hadn’t guessed already that the ancient mariners invented all these games in their leisure time when they weren’t sailing the ice age seas

Chapter 12
I was actually quite taken aback at this chapter. It covers one of my favourite characters from every pseudo book I have ever read. Oannes the mer man who we have all come to know was half man and half fish truly wasn’t amphibious. He was merely an allegory for an ancient mariner and quite possible from Phoenicia himself. Along with his seven friends the Apkallu they were just as ancient mythology states the teachers of all mankind. Whether they are described as the seven sages in Greek myth or the seven rishis in Vedic texts the fact of the matter is that they are all responsible for the education of the rest of us savages in the post glacial world (1500bce) the story of Gilgamesh (2000bce “authors dating) proves this is the case as Upnapishtim and the seven Apkallu who form part of the story are mentioned as another name for Oannes and offered as solid evidence

Chapter 13 “Neanderthal and homo erectus were us”
This section is a fascinating foray into the world of human anthropology and evolution. Clearly the orthodox community has it wrong because not realising that the ice age cloud cover caused vitamin deficiencies in everyone alive at the time they incorrectly now label skeletons of our own species as sub human. These poor unfortunates with a build up of calcium around the brow and in some cases rickets caused by a lack of sunlight have been slandered as “bouncing monkey men” when in fact they were just as advanced as us. This clearly and forthrightly places the whole of human evolution into the 4004bce start date. Clearly from the evidence offered in this chapter human evolution is a myth as we were all created by God in his image and God no matter what anyone thinks was not a “bouncing monkey man” with rickets.

Chapter 14 “supposed astral extensions to mankind”
Clearly when you realise that only 8 people survived the great deluge tracing the ancestors of all modern humans becomes far simpler. All the founder Gods of ancient myth were in fact based on the Noahs ark refuges who landed on Ararat around 1500bce. All of the Gods include of course the Ennead (the nine) of whom there were eight and the gods of Mesoamerica (hundreds) of whom there were also eight to the eight founder gods of Sumerian Mesopotamia and then later Assyria. I had not realised that the word Amulet was in fact based on the name Ham and so in future should be referred to as a Hamulet. I had thought a Hamulet to be one of those things in breadcrumbs that you find in some of the finer dining establishments but perhaps I was in error again.

The epilogue recounts all the previously (now proven) facts and ends
“Thank you for coming along on this ride, and I trust that your eyes have been opened regarding the capabilities of the ancients, and the plausibility of the Genesis account. All of the bible is demonstrably true, even Genesis, so I hope that you now use your God given faith to accept the son of God, one of the triune entities of the Godhead, Jesus Christ, who came to earth to physically die, and then rose from the dead, so that we can spiritually live with him forever
Amen

A much better way to do a review if you don't want it hijacked.

Good review Marduk.

Thanks, Marduk.
That was a lot of work, and a wonderful book review.
Now you want us to talk about it?
Uhh....

actually......

don't you just love posts that start actually
i first contacted the author (who I know from a previous few websites) about a month ago when i heard he had this published and enquired about the publisher....(quite tongue in cheek i assure you). He pledged to send me a copy over the next couple of weeks and then there was a post at the Hall of Maat in which was about a new book “Who carved the Sphinx, and built the Great Pyramid, and why?” by Bible Scholar Helena Lehman.
http://www.hallofmaat.com/read.php?1,41 ... msg-417575
the replies to it weren't too complimentary
http://www.hallofmaat.com/read.php?1,41 ... msg-418122

It seemed to me that instead of reacting in such a way that brings you down to the level of who you allegedly regard as just another crank, you should instead ask why do they need to believe this and study it from a perspective of modern, and by its very derivation ancient anthropology

as you can see the thread fizzled out at 9 posts, and the overall consensus was that all work of this type should be burnt basically

I've always been into freedom of speech and i figured that maybe if I did a review and asked Kats permission she would allow it to be seen, as anyway from that perspective it is a post from regular poster rather than an endorsement from a very highly regarded and respected Historical forum.

So i asked James if he minded me doing a review provided that he realised it would have to be a little comic because I also have no wish to be seen pushing what might be regarded as an agenda

from the point of view that any publicity would be good publicity he agreed. I then took another two weeks to write that review. this was mainly hampered by the fact that i had only read the book through once (200 pages) and had to read it again while making a few notes about the key parts of each chapter so that when i did write it, it wouldn't sound like shovelled manure from someone unaware as to the subject matter.

So I then sent a copy to first Katherine Reece and then to James Nienhuis.
I was I can tell you not expecting James to be so happy with it as he was nor really expecting Kat to allow it to be posted
but both were happy to do so

so it got posted
http://www.hallofmaat.com/read.php?1,419300

I think this proves two things.
1) the Hall of Maat stood true to their word about the principles of Maat and should be commended
2) the book did get some more publicty because although only 8 people responded to the review I'm quite sure that quite a few more actually read it and know now that James is an Author in his own right.

so the lesson to be learned here is that christian young earth creationists still are at least human and still have a sense of humour (well lets face it you'd have to wouldn't you if you truly believe in God and seven days in 4004BCE).
and that other sites that refused to post anything about "Ice Age Civilisations" that actually pretend that they are demanding freedom of speech to reveal their secrets and who are apparent beacons in the attack on the global consipracy to hide the truth about our past from the public are in fact the only ones with any kind of agenda at all.
like who'd a thought it

Well, I actually am an ordained minister and I have some power. Annulments are easy as are marriages, with or without the awareness of the other party.

To eliminate individual variations in tree ring growth, dendrochronologists take the smoothed average of the tree ring widths of multiple tree samples to build up a ring history. This process is termed replication. A tree ring history whose beginning and end dates are not known is called a floating chronology. It can be anchored by cross-matching either the beginning or the end section against the end sections of another chronology (tree ring history) whose dates are known. Fully anchored chronologies which extend back more than 10,000 years exist for river oak trees from South Germany (from the Main and Rhine rivers). A fully anchored chronology which extends back 8500 years exists for the bristlecone pine in the southwest US (White Mountains of California).

I mean, are all forms of dating wrong? Does that not strike one as being a bit suspicious?

Incidentially, you would all be as attractively knowledgeable as moi had you read the greatest book, which I thoughtfully (yet pointlessly) pointed you toward.

Ed, if you can prove that all tree rings reflect one year of growth, then you get the big prize.
