the ringing silence, here

Post by john »

the ringing silence, here,

demonstrates to me just how far away we

strayed from the topic.

there's plenty out there,

on the topic of archaeology.

so choose your poison.

it can be neandertals

it can be "lucy"

it can be the neolothic shift.

it can be kennewick man.

it can be roman/pre-roman britain.

etc., etc.

so why is everybody standing around like deer

on the highway

late at night

in the headlights?

the subject is archaeology - damn near infinite -

in my opinion.

Hey John, I don't know where you're at but here in Tennessee it's 2300 hrs. on a Friday night.

Some of our west coast posters may come in but I have to put my tired self to bed.

Good Luck.

not a prob. i try to run as hard and long as i can 24/7/365.

i think people are a little spooked by threads beings locked.

don't worry, it not personal.

michelle has the health of the forum to look out for -

and we seem to be at a pivot point.

ps.

this is not a criticism.

i just see all these wonderful opportunitiies,

out there.

Maybe some are a little gun shy right now. If something could get going and stay on topic people will come back. You can tell by the number of views theyre lurking around but just didn't want to get into the fray.
