I am not prejudiced , I asked you a simple question about the bible and how god advocates slavery and the treatment of said slaves , I gave you a link quoting all the relevant passages . Oh and BTW one man can not own another I dont care what god says .
You never even offered a reply , you just sidestepped the question .
If the bible and your god is so weak you cant even defend him properly
What good is he or his book ??

Are you saying that it simply is not clear and is open to interpretation?

that post was meant for minimalist not you.

again, it will take some work to get you your answer, it is not something i have off the top of my head and i am not even sure you will accept the answer.

as to your personal preference concerning ownership, then you would feel that employing maids, and butlers among other household staff to be as repugnant.

i don't need to defend Him or the Bible, though your assumption there is pre-mature. how do i know that you will accept what i say concerning God's view on the topic?

and not willing to see the other side of it.

Please explain to us heathens the "good" side of slavery.....Mas'sa.
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

That's not too shabby. It only left here week ago last Monday afternoon.

Guess I'll stop ragging on the post office for a while.

the postal system here is pretty good and cheap.

i viewed the show yesterday while i was at school. had 2 hours of break time in the afternoon and it played well on this computer.

so if you want to start a new thread, go ahead and let's discuss it. suffice it to say for now that i did get a good laugh at one point.

What's wrong with the 'beneficial aspects of slavery?'
