Prehistory is about to change! (Politics)

Here's where you get off topic and off center....Keep it nice, keep it clean, no sniping, no flaming. After that, anything goes.

I think it would be fair to point out that without your presense there would have been no political banter. Takes two you know, so perhaps you should follow your own advise?

I'm not 'following' my own adviCe, Roy. I conceived of it, presented the suggestion, and am actually doing it right now.
If there is anyone who could, should, or might 'follow' here, it is you. Or not, as the case may be. Good luck with it.

But an archaeology/paleontology board isn't the place for political banter.
We do have an "Everything Else" forum for...um..."everything else."
Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed.

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy."
