The science of evolution (which is real, in spite of your foolish beliefs) relates only to one question. Did humanity evolve to its present form?

the answer to that is no but you won't listen. if that is its only purpose then it is of no value.

It does not burn people at the stake if they do not believe it

actually that is only true in a literal sense. what evolutionists do to people who don't believe is astonishing. when a small publisher printed an article on i.d. in his tiny newsletter, the smithsonian went ballistic and you shouldhave seen what they did to that man and he wasn't even a christian.

paint the whole story please.

I'm still trying to figure out if Darwinites think that we morphed from tree shrews or from monkeys, could someone clarify this?

you are just misquoting based on your limited understanding of a process that you don't subscribe to

apes and humans are cousins
monkeys are an entirely different species
they all had a common ancestory
but you have to go further back to find it

They can't decide if the Proconsul is an ape or a monkey, so that makes it our ancestor? That would be a great name for a kid, after a distant ancestor, Proconsul (sounds kinda Goth).

its both and neither
its descendants were monkeys and apes
then later we evolved from the apes
we never evolved from monkeys but are realted to them through proconsul
like you are related to Adolf Hitler through a distant ancestor
this is Darwinian evolution
the tree shrews were much earlier

and probably more intelligent
(i.e.) they knew staying in the trees was a good idea
